SEO Tips for Attorney Web Design

  1. First, make sure you conduct preliminary keyword research using Google's Keyword Tool. Find out what keyword or keyword phrase users are entering when they are searching for an attorney of your practice area. Then, focus on that keyword or keyword phrase. Your web design meta tags should be optimized for the keyword or keyword phrases that you would like to use. The Google Keyword Tool will tell you how many searches are conducted on a monthly basis for any given keyword.
  2. Select keywords or keyword phrases that are less competitive. It will be much easier to get a leg up on the other attorney websites that are not carefully and skillfully designed, and who do not have proper SEO techniques implemented. Your website content should be crafted to target your desired keyword or keyword phrase.
  3. Try to target one keyword phrase per page. Rather than attempting to include all 5 or 7 of your keyword phrases into one page, spread them throughout numerous pages of your website. Take care to design elements within that page to target that specific keyword phrase- your image alt tags, description metas, title, and H1 tags can all be tailored to specifically target your keyword phrase.
